Merlion Park

St. Andrew's Cathedral -Originally constructed in 1832, the building was struck by lightning twice and demolished. The new cathedral was completed in 1862, in an English Gothic style and is Singapore’s largest cathedral with its majestic facades and a glossy white exterior.

Yueh Hai Ching Temple- Temple of Love


Visit one of the oldest Taoist temples in Singapore, built in the 1820s. It was originally a place where sailors and traders from China used to come and pray for safety from the rough seas. However  today lovers come and pray before the black idol, the statue of Yue Lao, the bearded elder matchmaker. Receiving 1.6 million visitors annually, the Singapore Zoo boasts of its free-ranging habitat, where animals roam freely in their natural surroundings. Cages are almost non-existent as the animals are allowed to live almost like they would in their natural habitat.
