
The Presidential Palace
An impressive palace with very attractive decor that reflects personality of its owners. The layout and access provided for the visitor to see is truly undefinable. Where most countries would be afraid to display their leader lifestyle. There is no other country make such close access to its leaders residence.This sumptuous restored colonial building was constructed in 1906 as the Palace for the Governor General of Indochina. The yellow beaux-arts palace is now used for official receptions and isn’t open to the public.
Temple of Literature

It is a religious temple as well as this is a temple of Literature. This is considered to be the first University of Vietnam. Nowadays, the temple is not only a historical attraction but also attracts many candidates, students coming to pray for their studying career. Hence it is actually considered as a divine center of studies.
Founded in 1070 by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong, the complex was originally dedicated to honor Confucius. Afterwards, it became Vietnam’s Imperial Academy – a prestigious school for top academics. Students began enrolling at the Imperial Academy in 1076. Once accepted, students took 3 to 7 years to complete the curriculum, which is undoubtedly influenced by Chinese literature, poetry and history. Scholars had the opportunity to sit the National Exam after completion and continue to Royal Exam.
Hoan Kiem Lake

Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as, Ho Guom, feels like the lungs and heart of Hanoi. Escape the zooms and effluvium by taking a saunder round the pretty green spot. There is opportunity to buy a coffee, some food or an ice cream around the lake too. It is also an area of the city map is marked in green, it does not mean that it is a park. The red colored bridge across the lake is a main attraction.
